This page explains how DeepVerse may handle information when you choose to connect your Discord account. Keep this policy accurate to the services and data the live site actually uses.

1. Information we may receive

If you choose Discord account linking, the service may receive basic Discord account details permitted by the authorization screen, such as your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. If purchase-linked roles are enabled later, records needed to confirm an eligible purchase and assign or remove a role may also be processed. Do not provide passwords or Discord tokens to DeepVerse.

2. Why information is used

Information is used to connect your account to the DeepVerse community, identify your Discord account, and provide features you request. Account linking does not by itself mean a purchase has been made.

3. Discord authorization

Connecting is optional. You will be redirected to Discord to review and approve the requested permissions. You can decline. You can also revoke an application's access through your Discord account's Authorized Apps settings. Revoking access may stop linked features from working.

4. Sharing and service providers

Discord processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. DeepVerse should not sell your personal information. Information should only be shared with services required to operate account linking, secure hosting, or payment verification, and only as needed for those purposes.

5. Storage and security

Any live implementation should store only the information it needs, protect it with appropriate access controls, and keep bot tokens, OAuth client secrets, and payment secrets on a secure server—not in public website files. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention and deletion

Linked-account data should be kept only for as long as needed for the purposes above or legitimate operational requirements. To request disconnection or deletion of linked data, email [email protected] or contact the DeepVerse team through the official Discord community.

7. Children and changes

DeepVerse is a community project. Follow Discord's minimum age requirements and applicable local law. This policy may be updated when site features or data practices change; the date above should be updated at that time.
